Jesus left no room for argument that a person needs to be saved to be part of the Kingdom of God in His conversation with Nicodemus!

John 3:3-Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5–Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

HERE IS GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION!

I. ACKNOWLEDGE YOU NEED A SAVIOR

Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Romans 3:10 (KJV) 10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 (KJV) 23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23 (KJV) 23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

II. BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST IS GOD’S SON

John 3:16 (KJV) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:6 (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

Romans 5:8 (KJV) 8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

III. CONFESS YOUR NEED THROUGH FAITH & REPENTANCE

1 John 1:9 (KJV) 9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) 9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Revelation 3:20 (KJV) 20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) 13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Plan of Salvation is very simple:  God through His wonderful Love sent His Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price (on a Cross He shed His blood) needed to redeem sinful man.  What it takes on your part is a genuine faith (not an understanding) and repentance (godly sorrow) of your sin, inviting Jesus into your heart.

Here is a simple prayer:

Dear God, I am lost because of my sin, I realize I cannot save my self and deserve to be condemned.  I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin.  I am sorry for my life of sinfulness and I want Jesus to come into my heart and change me.  I want to commit to Him whether I live or die to serve Him as Lord and Savior.  Thank you, Lord for your promise to save me.  Amen!
